A sudden absence? Change the minimum
When someone calls in sick, Oravis finds the shifts left uncovered and proposes the solution that changes the fewest shifts: it prefers days further away, doesn’t touch anyone already on duty and stays within the maximum number of changes you decide. The proposal is applied only when you confirm it.
A fair schedule for the whole team
Each person states the shifts they prefer or want to avoid, with a priority, before the schedule is generated. Nights, weekends and holidays are shared out with the same criterion for everyone, taking previous months into account too: no favouritism, no back-room deals.
