How much does Oravis cost?

Oravis has three plans: Free, at no cost for the first 3 months for up to 20 users and 3 teams; Business, at €1 per user per month for up to 100 users with unlimited teams; Enterprise, tailored to larger organizations.

What is included in the price?

Every plan includes automatic schedule generation, compliance with your collective agreement and working-time rules, and management of staff preferences. The Business plan adds unlimited teams and 2 hours of training.

How can I get a quote?

Get in touch through the form on the Contact page and describe your needs: we will prepare a quote tailored to your organization.

Does the price change as my team grows?

Yes. You can start for free for the first 3 months, with up to 20 users and 3 teams. Before the trial ends we let you know by email: if you want to continue, or if you go over that threshold, you move to the Business plan at €1 per user per month, only after you confirm. Above 100 users we prepare a tailored Enterprise plan.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. The Free plan costs nothing for the first 3 months within its limits, and Business has a fixed price per user per month. For larger organizations we prepare a tailored quote.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. You can move from the Free plan to Business, or to Enterprise, at any time as your team grows.

Why Oravis offers great value

Why Oravis offers great value

Oravis saves you hours of manual work, reduces the risk of errors on contract constraints and improves team satisfaction by respecting everyone's preferences. Real value, at a price that scales affordably as your organization grows.

Which industries is Oravis designed for?

Oravis was born in healthcare, but it suits any organization that works in shifts: care homes, hospitals, logistics, continuous manufacturing, security services, retail, restaurants and hotels, call centres. The Sectors section shows how it works in each one.

Is Oravis suitable for care and nursing homes?

Yes. Oravis handles 24/7 rosters for nurses and care assistants, shares out nights, weekends and holidays fairly, respects leave, time off and protected-leave entitlements, and keeps each person's hour bank. You will find the details in the Sectors section, on the care homes page.

Does Oravis use artificial intelligence to generate shifts?

Yes. Oravis builds the schedule with artificial intelligence algorithms that automatically balance workloads, mandatory rest, required skills and staff preferences, always within the limits of your collective agreement.

How long does it take to create a schedule?

Once shifts and constraints are set up, Oravis generates the complete schedule in a few seconds, and you can regenerate it in moments whenever something changes.

What does Oravis check before generating the schedule?

Before generating, Oravis checks that the constraints are compatible with each other and that there are enough staff to cover the required shifts. If something doesn't add up, it tells you which constraint is blocking and why, instead of returning a wrong schedule or letting you discover the problem after it has been published.

How do you ensure compliance with the law and the collective agreement?

Oravis automatically applies the working-time limits you configure from your labour law and collective agreement: minimum rest between shifts (for example the 11 consecutive hours required by the EU Working Time Directive), the maximum number of consecutive working days, each person's contract hours and the rules on shift sequences, such as never going from a night straight into a morning. Every generated schedule is compliant by design.

What happens if someone is absent at the last minute?

Oravis finds the shifts left uncovered and proposes the solution that changes the fewest shifts, preferring changes on days further away and without touching anyone already on duty. You can decide the maximum number of changes you accept. The proposal is applied only when you confirm it.

How are staff preferences collected?

Each person states the shifts they want or want to avoid, or a time slot (e.g. "mornings only"), giving each preference a priority level. Oravis respects them as far as possible, giving more weight to the most important ones, without letting whoever enters the most preferences count more than the others.

How do you ensure fairness and transparency among staff?

Every night, holiday or weekend shift is shared out with the same criterion for everyone, with no exceptions or back-room deals. Preferences are collected before generation, not after: the result is a schedule the team sees as fair, not imposed.

Does Oravis track hour credit and debit?

Yes. At the end of the month Oravis calculates each person's hour balance — how much they worked against their target — and automatically carries the credit or debit over to the next month, within the limits you set.

How is my team's data protected?

All data is processed in compliance with the GDPR and hosted on servers in Italy, in the EU, in an instance dedicated to your organization. Each role only accesses what it needs, sensitive roles use two-factor authentication and every access to sensitive data is logged.

Where is the data hosted?

On servers in Italy, within the EU, and it is processed in compliance with the GDPR. Each organization has its own dedicated instance, separate from other customers. On request, Oravis can also be installed on your own servers (on-premise).

How do you handle health-related data?

As special-category data (GDPR Art. 9), for example disability or caregiver leave entitlements. Only HR can enter it, and only HR and the person concerned can view it: not even the application administrators have access. Every read, change or unauthorized access attempt is logged.

Does Oravis integrate with payroll and time clocks?

Today you can export the schedule to Excel, PDF and iCal. Export to the main payroll software and connection to time and attendance systems are on the roadmap: if you need them, get in touch and we will design them together around your needs.

Does Oravis send notifications to staff?

Yes. Oravis sends email alerts when a schedule is published, on shift swap requests and on important team events.

Can I export or print the schedule?

Yes. The schedule downloads in one click: Excel for your records, PDF for printing and iCal to import into any calendar. Each person can also create a private link to their own shifts, always up to date and revocable at any time.

Does Oravis work on smartphones?

Yes. Oravis runs in the browser on computers, tablets and smartphones, with nothing to install. Staff can also sync their shifts with their phone calendar.
